About me

My name is Lisa qualified Dog Trainer and Dog walker

I have been brought up with animals all my life, living with German shepherds, goats, rabbits and birds, at the family home.

I love being outside.

My passion has always been horses and I have always worked with them, as well as owning two of my own.

I have rescued 3 Lurchers over the past 15 years, all of whom had a poor start in life. Sully who got to a good age, but is sadly no longer with us. Percy, now 9, who was a complete nightmare to begin with, but is now lovely, and Trigger, now 2, but still a work in progress. The hard work continues!

The lates addition is Gamble the collie , he absolutely loves to please.

we are working on obedience and agility and throwing in some tricks, but still very young so lots of adventures ahead.

I needed a new challenge, rather than just working with horses, so it had to be dogs, I am an approved instructor with the Academy of Dog Training, and Behaviour. I have been lucky enough to be teaching for Ace Dog Training for a number of years, whilst also running my own dog walking business, and now running my own training classes also.

I enjoy keeping my knowledge updated and attend many workshops, seminars and training days, some of which add to CPD. These include animal first aid, zoopharmacognosey, Tellington TTtouch, interactive play and dog law.

The latest achievement being Advanced Certificate in canine Reactive Behaviour course as well as how nutrition can affect dogs behaviour. All of these different techniques can help us and our dogs whatever their individual need.

I love my job and being able to share my life with such great animals, who I call my friends.

Dog walking

After meeting with you and your dog to find out your requirments I will then pick up your dog in the morning for 1 hours group walk where the dogs can run play and sniff, returning home after happy and well exercised,water provided and towel dried on those wet days! Your dog will be out of the house for a couple of hours.

Care of the older or younger dog taken to not allow over play or exercise.

( not suitable for dogs with problems with other dogs)

COST £12 for 1 dog each walk

£9 for a 2nd dog from the same house.

on the right path covering all of the basics, we will be using reward based training to help you & your dog achieve a great partnership desifor the whole family to be involved.

IMORTANT NOTICE classes are not suitable for all dogs ! Dogs must NOT have any aggression problems .Somtimes a 1-2-1 maybe more suited.

Payments must be paid in full to secure your place, booking is required.

Refunds will not be given for illness/holidays etc (unless classes are cancelled by the organiser)

One to One

Whether you have a new puppy, an older dog, a rescued dog or just a dog that you need some help with I will come to your home and give you one to one help designed specifically for your individual circumstances.

I believe it is important that you have a fun and rewarding relationship with your dog. I use only reward based training techniques.
